In addition to the typical factors which make a piece a great piece (sculpt, painting, details, pose and so on), the face of the character may represent an unquestionable strong point for any Marvel statue. Very often, in fact, our love for a collectible comes from its similarity with the memory or the same idea we have always had about a character, or its faithfulness to the tables of a specific cartoonist or a special saga. For example, my love for Bowen statues and the old Premium Formats by Sideshow (which, in general, are very sought-after and appreciated by all fans) is often related to the resemblance of the somatic traits with the tables of my favorite authors (Buscema, Kirby, Romita), which reminds me of my Comic book readings at the time of the so-called Silver Age. So here is the first part of a photos' collection devoted to the portraits of my Marvel statues, where it is possible to appreciate the details of the sculpt and, hopefully, the above mentioned, desired features.
